LFR IMAS 2.0 IFAK - Individual First Aid Kit - MARCH Systems
The iMAS 2.0 is the smallest pouch in the MARCH Trauma systems range.
It is designed by medics from their experience, so it is compact and as speedy to access, even by using just one hand if necessary.
By way of cleverly using every bit of space, JayJays® has managed to package the IFAK as small and low profile as possible, whilst still being able to pack in as much kit as possible.
In this small pouch you can fit 1 x Tourniquet (CAT or SOF), 1 x 6” Emergency compression bandage, 1 NP airway, 1 x naso gel, 1 x Needle decompression, 1 x Flat Haemostatic Dressing, 1 x chest seal, 1 x small sharpie marker. PLEASE NOTE KIT IS NOT SUPPLIED. IT IS POUCH ONLY
The pouch is secured inside a clam shell sleeve, for extra security a hook and loop tab also secure the pouch in place. By un-clipping the one-handed side release buckle, the pouch is released using either hand, this makes the pouch very secure, and it will not fall out of its sleeve like elasticated sleeve IFAKS.
Rapid access to the pouch can be done by using the JayJays® Patented BURST ZIP feature. Simply pull the handles either side of the zip pullers and the zip will burst open quickly, this can even be done one handed, so if you are plugging a wound and need to access the pouch simply bite one handle and pull the other one with your hand.
Whether you use MARCH or CABCD you can instantly see what you need and where it is. This also helps with resupply of contents, as you can see what you have used quickly. Again, the items can be taken out by one hand easily, so if you are injured or you are plugging a wound, all the contents can be accessed with one hand.
The pouch is constructed using a super lightweight Lima 33 Laminate fabric, this will keep you contents dry and clean whilst still withstanding high abrasion.
