LAARSE Technical Insertion Parka - Multicam
The LA-AR-SE (Land, Air, Sea) Insertion parka is the ultimate in cold weather insulation clothing.
Designed and developed from experiences on operations, whilst working in open vehicles with a windchill factor of -30 C, we effectively wanted to develop well waterproof parka that could be worn over the top of everything, clothing, body armour, chest rigs and even belt kit.
Whether your insertion method is by land, air or sea, this parka is designed to keep you dry and warm as possible until your destination is reached, then the Parka can be removed quickly and either hung up by carabiner or packed away, ready for when you return, where you simply throw it over all your kit, zip it up and stay warm.
By cleverly building into the design a retractable fishtail that can be dropped down, this stops the parka riding up at the back even when belt kit is worn. The fishtail also has pop stud fittings which can be fixed into the front of the parka to create individual legs for mobility. This covers most of the body from the knees to your neck. The fishtail can also be stowed away at the back to allow greater movement if needed.
The LAARSE parka has reinforced 330 denier nylon panels on the lower arms, fishtail and back to give extra abrasion resistance.
Sizing is done by height in centimetres, 160, 170,180, 190 and 200. Please see the size guide.

- Lower arms are covered with 330 denier nylon, this protects the lower arms from abrasion, particularly when using heavy machine guns.

- Internal elasticated snow skirt.
- 2 x large, zipped mesh pockets with webbing hangers, this allows you to hang wet socks inside the pockets. This allows your body heat to dry out your wet socks or other small clothing items.
